TECH PARK KIDS and Shoeisha will co-host a workshop in Fukuoka about the picture book "Hello Ruby: Adventures in Coding", which parents and kids can use to learn about programming.

The author, Linda, and translator, Torii, will both be at the event, so you won't want to miss it!

We’re now in an era when, just like reading and writing, everyone should be learning about computers and programming. We believe that learning the basic principles of programming at an early age can open up limitless possibilities for kids. With these skills, these future leaders can help bring about a brighter future for Japan and the world.

Linda Liukas’ Hello Ruby project is a groundbreaking educational picture book aimed at helping young children learn the basic concepts of programming together with their parents. Cute characters unravel the amazing nature of programming through concepts and things familiar to kids.

We’re holding this event to commemorate the release of the Japanese version of the book. We hope you can join us!
